For some it might not be big but it was big for me. (Yes I know short farms) but i've played Yomi Yori a couple times and it's really helped me improve, in just a month and a bit of playing Quaver, i've went from farming 2 minute maps to passing a 16 mintue map. Longer maps has helped me improve a ton! I normally used to play around 2 minute maps, with my arms getting tired. Especially if the map is below your skill level and you want to boost the rating! The "Mirror Modifier" has also helped, if i'm stuck on something I know I can hit but for some reason I just can't, I prefer to turn on the modifier and it can help me pass it. Whether it's 1.25x, 1.5x, 2x it can all be helpful. The speed modifier has helped me improve in stamina + speed. I would say that around 97% accuracy is a good time to move up once hit consistently. Play something a little bit above your skill range -īy this i mean if you play for example a 25 Rated map, try to go for a map that is around 28ish, if you are not getting a decently consistent and good accuracy maybe move down a bit of the rating.

If you want to improve on a certain skill set, then look for the certain map with the tag of that skill set, for example if you'd like to improve at Chord Jacks you would go to "Main Menu -> Download Songs -> At top search "Chord" if you would like streams then same as the chord's.ĥ.
try to test "Top Lane" and "Bottom Lane" cover's at different sizes. it's helped me on Long Notes and streams. Personally I never used "Hidden" on Osu, neither did I start out with it on Quaver, but I decided to test it and i've found out it has helped me improve on reading notes.

This can be found at the main screen - Press CTRL + O -> Search "Skin" -> Then select "Default skin" then test theseĢ.1 For custom skins you want to go to the - Main Menu -> At the top it'll say "Skins" -> Find a skin you like -> Click "subscribe" -> Go back to main menu -> CTRL + O -> search "Skin" - > "Custom Skin" Whether it's arrows, orbs (circles) or pure lines, whichever is the best for you is the one you want to use, make sure to test a few skins, I try to test around 4/5 skins and whichever one I like using the best I use. Personally I like to use something from the range of 38.5 - 40.5 as a user of 30 scroll speed (fixed) on osu.Ģ.
Something that you're comfortable, you'd want something that is higher not too slow otherwise notes will just crumble and near enough stack on top of each other where it'd be extremely difficult to read.

I've only been playing since about 2019 September with about 3/4 months breaks in between and have gotten some decent stats in my opinion, i've seen a couple guides on how to improve but i'm going to post my own one on how to improve, whether starting or later in the rankings
